Lateral ankle instability post – Part 2: the ‘Rhythmic Stabilization’ exercise

After the post on November 18/09 outlining the use of medical acupuncture to increase motor neuron pool excitability I recieved a flurry of emails asking “what to do next.”  In other words, what types of exercises or in house rehabilitation would be performed following the electroacupuncture treatment……soooo, in this video I demonstrate “Ryhthmic Stabilization” of the ankle.  The purpose of this exercise is to re-teach the nervous system to deal with perterbation efficiently and effectively in order to re-form a more suitable motor program to ensure ankle stability.
