Correcting dorsal retinacular mechanics in the ankle using Functional Range Release technique

In this short clip, Dr. Chivers (certified F.R.™ instructor) briefly demonstrates one component of treatment on the dorsal retinaculum of the ankle.  In the clip, he notes a few main concepts that I have discussed in previous posts, the first being to emphasize tissue tension for longer periods in order to directly alter fascial composition (read more about this concept here), and the second is regarding the importance of inter-layer treatment of fascia superficialis (read more about fascial planes here).
