From the Vault…Dr. Spina discusses the concept of dynamic ligament stabilization
Functional Anatomy Seminars - Functional Anatomic Palpation Systems™ | Functional Range Release™
In this video we discuss several concepts including dynamic ligament stabilization, the proper performance of several orthopaedic tests, as well as the proper palpation technique for palpating articular motion. Further, we discuss how to achieve the joint ‘lock-out’ needed for effective manipulation and/or mobilization technique while remaining well within the normal range of motion of an articulation….and the difference between global joint movement vs. achieving specific segmental movement.
This footage was taken at a FUNCTIONAL ANATOMIC PALPATION SYSTEMS (F.A.P.)‘Lower Limb’ seminar in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
