Functional Anatomy Seminars - Functional Anatomic Palpation Systems™ | Functional Range Release™

In this video post, Dr. Spina answers interview questions sent from the Associazione per la Ricerca Applicata alla Terapia Manuale (Association for Applied Research in Manual Therapy) regarding his systems.

Specifically he is asked to discuss the importance of taking a systematic approach to soft tissue palpation and assessment.  This includes the utilization of treatment specific outcome measures in order to guide manual therapy.

Included is an example of utilizing the F.A.P. method for locating and palpating the Gracilis muscle – a historically poorly understood, and poorly palpated musculoskeletal structure.

You can learn more about the F.A.P. soft tissue palpation methods at FUNCTIONAL ANATOMY SEMINARS.com – seminar registration information is also available.
